The Convento Dell’Annunciata is a historical convent founded over 500 years ago. Nestled in the countryside of Medole, Italy, it is tucked away from busy city life yet reachable by a short drive from major cities like Milan and Venice. We chose the Convento because of its enchanting beauty, history, and nature. The wedding activities will take us through the entire Convento and its grounds.

Menu

Come hungry! We’re working with the amazing caterer Alfonso Muzzi to keep us satisfied all evening and night. The Aperitivo after the ceremony will feature five Italian market-style stands with a variety of traditional Italian finger foods.

Dinner is a three-course meal that will include pasta, vegetables, seafood, chicken, and veal. If you have any dietary restrictions, please make sure to let us know in the RSVP. There will be Prosecco and various wines throughout the event, as well as an open bar after dinner with cocktails and a variety of Italian spirits like limoncello. Alfonso Muzzi is one of the oldest bakeries in Italy, so be ready for an amazing dessert buffet.

Attire

There is no strict dress code, but you should wear what makes you feel elegant. Dress comfortably so you have the freedom to roam the Convento grounds and dance the night away. The weather in Italy will be quite warm in June so keep that in mind if you’re planning on wearing long-sleeved dresses or heavy suits. Part of the wedding will be on forest grounds, so for ladies wearing stiletto heels, we recommend heel protectors: Heel stoppers

Temperatures in June in Northern Italy are summery warm. Average highs are 27°C (80°F) and lows are 16°C (60°F). It typically remains relatively warm throughout the night and doesn't get super hot during the day.

Lake Garda waterfront

Come join us the day after the wedding at the waterfront! On Saturday afternoon, 1PM - 5PM, we plan to take everybody on a boat ride along the lake that will make stops for gelato, sightseeing, and swimming! Hang out with the newlyweds and everyone else in a relaxed atmosphere.

Pick up will be both in Sirmione and Desenzano at the piers. Guests are welcome to bring any family traveling with them who didn't attend the night before (please indicate in RSVP).

Excited to see you there!
